The IHOBF-San Diego office was established in June 2005 with plans to introduce programming in the winter of 2006.

IHOBF-San Diego's Blues SchoolHouse Band prepares for the introduction of the musical performance component of the Blues SchoolHouse program.
IHOBF will begin programming in January 2006 with the formal introduction of the IHOBF-San Diego Blues SchoolHouse program. Other core programs and additional programs including the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. program will be introduced during the coming school year.
