IHOBF - Las Vegas

IHOBF programs encourage youth to explore and develop their creativity by expressing themselves in positive ways through the arts. The IHOBF-Las Vegas Student Gallery presents artistic works created by Las Vegas area youth in connection with IHOBF arts educational programming.

The above artwork, entitled Three Cans, was created by local artist Suzanne Lugano in connection with the 2003 From Trash to Treasure: Water Smart Art program. IHOBF-Las Vegas, with the Southern Nevada Water Authority and the Clark County Library District, sponsors this countywide art competition based on the theme of conserving resources.		The above artwork, entitled Blues Guitar, was created by elementary students from Sara Gold School in connection with the 2003 From Trash to Treasure: Water Smart Art program. IHOBF-Las Vegas, in partnership with the Southern Nevada Water Authority and the Clark County Library District, sponsors this countywide art competition based on the theme of conserving resources.

The artwork above was created by a student participant in the IHOBF-Las Vegas Blues SchoolHouse program, using donated glitter and cloth.
