IHOBF-Anaheim offered its first full year
of programming to the Orange County community in 2003,
reaching
nearly 11,000 students, teachers and Orange County community
members through the Blues SchoolHouse program. Also, IHOBF-Anaheim
launched its first Make An Impression Guitar and Drum Programs
in the fall of 2003, in partnership with Oxford Academy
of Anaheim Union High School District. IHOBF-Anaheim has
been active in the educational community by presenting
at
California Music Educators Association, Orange County
Music and Art Administrators Association, Southern
California Band and Orchestra Association and by serving
as an arts education advocate in connection with various
Orange County school districts.
