International House of Blues Foundation® (IHOBF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides arts and cultural programs to schools and communities.
Established in 1993, IHOBF:
- Delivers music and arts educational programs to thousands of students annually
- Transforms House of Blues venues into multimedia classrooms where students learn about history and culture through live music and visual arts
- Supports school and community-based music instructional programs
- Provides arts resources and professional development for teachers
- Creates opportunities for students to exhibit/perform at the House of Blues
IHOBF is supported by House of Blues, House of Blues Foundation Room members, Live Nation and other public and private donors.

IHOBF Program Objectives:
- Teach about American culture and history through blues music, blues-inspired music and folk art
- Highlight African American cultural contributions
- Explore traditions of diverse cultures
- Support teachers in integrating arts and cultural content into classroom curriculums
- Provide arts learning experiences for youth
- Emphasize the importance of the arts in personal and community life and the potential for each individual voice to contribute to society in positive ways
